Install the file you have just downloaded into your Windows directory.
If you don't know where your Windows directory is  just double click on the file. It will install itself in the Windows directory.

Right click on your screen.

This will open the screen menu.

When this window is opened select the 'Screen Saver' menu.

Click on the list to select the screensaver you want to install.

Then click on the settings button to define your options.

You can also define when the screensaver will be activated.
In the example it will be activated 15 minutes after you stop working on your computer.

When finished select 'OK'.
Your screensaver will be active.

How to install screen savers after downloading

Most screen savers are installed like any other program you download, hence you run the setup.exe which often is compressed in a zip file . Often the installation instructions accompany the downloaded file in the form of a .txt or .doc format. Refer to that file before installing them.

If the screen saver consists only of an .src file, you can right-click on the file and select Install from the pop up dialog screen, otherwise you copy the file to the Windows directory, then from the Control Panel choose Display, and in the Display Properties dialog that appears, select the Screen Saver tab and pick that file as your permanent screen saver.
